1. How do team spirit and endurance shape your company culture?
As CFO of RICHARDSON, I see every day that our performance is built on two key pillars: team spirit and endurance. Team spirit is reflected in the close collaboration between our stores, logistics and support functions; without alignment across finance, technical and commercial teams, it would be impossible to deliver over 300,000 items to our customers within increasingly tight deadlines.
Endurance stems from our long history: since 1855, we’ve weathered wars, crises, and industrial revolutions through prudent management, continuous investment in skills, and a culture of ongoing improvement. This mindset closely mirrors the philosophy of the Tour de France Femmes: going the distance, building on collective strength, and pushing the finish line a little further every day. It’s this combination of sustained effort and solidarity that shapes our culture and ensures the company’s longevity.
2. Why did you choose SD Worx as your HR and payroll partner?
At RICHARDSON, we needed to secure the processing of 2,000 monthly payslips across more than 100 sites, within a complex regulatory environment. SD Worx won us over with their solid expertise in multi-agreement payroll, the robustness of their cloud-based solution, and a service culture aligned with our standards of financial rigour. That said, we remain vigilant: in the last quarter, rushed updates and incomplete configurations disrupted our payroll cycle.
