Our mission is to fulfil the bucket list wishes of children and young people aged 3 to 21 who are in the final stage of life. We understand that during these incredibly difficult times, there is a need for joy and the creation of lasting memories. 1. How do you and your team stay motivated during challenging times?
At The Bucket List, our biggest motivation comes from the children and families we support. Seeing the joy, wonder, and peace a dream coming true brings to a seriously ill child reminds us every day why we do what we do. Even during challenging times, we stay focused on our mission by sharing uplifting stories within our team, celebrating small wins, and supporting each other with compassion. The strength and courage of the children inspire us to keep going, no matter the obstacles.
2. In one word, how would you describe your relationship with SD Worx?
Supportive.
SD Worx was there for us at a crucial point in our growth and has remained a reliable partner ever since. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to take the leap into professional employment as a small non-profit, without feeling overwhelmed. 3. What mindset do you believe is key to crossing the finish line — in sports or business?
The mindset that’s key to crossing the finish line is one of purpose and presence. Go after your dreams fearlessly. Don’t wait for the “right moment” because, as we’ve learned through the stories of our children, time isn’t always guaranteed. Chase your goals with urgency and heart, as if today is all you have. That’s how you make it count.
